DOGE Findings of Government Waste (So Far)
The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been busy cleaning up wasteful government spending since the Trump Administration took over on January 20th. The amounts of taxpayers’ money that has been used to fund ridiculous things abroad, not even in the US, is astounding. Here is a list of the major things DOGE has uncovered thus far:
- $50 million funding condoms to foreign countries
- $1.5 million to push DEI agendas in Serbian workplaces
- $70,000 to found a DEI musical in Ireland
- $47,000 to a transgender opera in Colombia
- $8 million in government subscriptions to Politico
- $37 million to the World Health Organization, in which the US no longer belongs to
- $20 million to fund Sesame Street in Iraq
- $2.5 million for electric vehicles in Vietnam
- $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru
- $45 million for DEI scholarships in Burma
- $2 million for sex changes and LGBT activism in Guatemala
- $6 million to fund tourism Egypt
- $2 million dollars to Moroccan pottery classes
