TAKE ACTION: Support the Candidates of the WI 8th Congressional District

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers shocked the district recently by calling for a special election in Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District.

This move, among other things, forces the candidates for the seat to collect an extra 1,000 signatures if they wish to be on the ballot for both the regular and special elections.

In response, the Brown County and Outagamie County Republican Parties have put together events for you to come to so you can meet your candidates and sign the nomination papers so they can be on both ballots. Other candidates for state office will be there too so you will want to meet them as well!

IF YOU HAVE SIGNED FOR A CANDIDATE ALREADY, YOU CAN SIGN AGAIN FOR THE SPECIAL ELECTION.

BROWN COUNTY

• Mix, Mingle & Meet
  • Here you can meet State Assembly and State Senate Candidates and sign their papers to get them on the ballot
  • The #WI08 candidates will likely be there as well looking to meet you and earn your support

  • This event is explicitly to collect the additional signatures our Congressional Candidates need for the special election
